Employee Wellness Indaba

Research indicates that organizations that choose to make wellbeing at work a priority out- perform their competitors. While organizations that support their people to feel psychologically and socially safe, have more capacity, creativity and perform at a much higher level. Furthermore, the coronavirus (COVID-19) has presented new and unique challenges, seriously impacting employee mental health and exacerbating pre-existing conditions. The world is still navigating through the ongoing effects of the virus, making it important to find new ways to work and interact while also taking care of our mental health and well-being.

Now more than ever, health and wellbeing of employees is a top concern, hence the need to create platforms for discussing strategies on how to improve the wellbeing of employees. The Employee Wellness Indaba aims to focus on robust and inclusive topics that explores the wellness dimensions that might affect employees’ wellbeing and performance.

​

Apart from the promotion of mental health and wellness in the workplace, the main aim and objective it to transform workplaces into forward-thinking organizations that empowers the individual employee’s wellbeing.

 

The Employee Wellness Indaba is an annual event to be hosted yearly during the Month of May to commemorate Mental Health Awareness Month.
